If you have never participated in live theatre, then you may never have heard of a Ghostlight. There's nothing particularly unusual about it. Just a lightbulb mounted on a post that you can move around. Most theatres keep a Ghostlight left on to prevent accidents. Of course, theatre folk love their drama, which is how the Ghostlight got its name. Legend has it that the real reason we leave the Ghostlight on is so that the restless spirits occupying the space won't come out to create mischief in a dark and unoccupied theatre. Unfortunately, the trouble-making entity at Vanity Theatre has no problem disabling the Ghostlight. This restless spirit has a score to settle before it can move into the light.
Ghostlight is the title story from Wilfong's Spooked Anthology to be be released in October 2021.
